Organisers

Have you ever found yourself in a situation where your list of things to do seems endless? When deadlines are approaching and everything seems to be happening at the same time?

Many people today seem to accept stress as just a part of life; Money, relationships, work issues, the long commute, children - and on it goes. The key to dealing with stress better, is to realise that it doesn’t have to be this way!

We may not be able to control what happens around us, but we can certainly control how we react to situations that affect us.

So, what is stress, really? Stress is simply your body’s physical response to something in your environment. When you are challenged by something going on around you, your body reacts by releasing chemicals that mimic the “flight or fight” response our ancestors felt when they were going hunting. It’s actually your body’s way of helping you adapt to your surroundings and survive.

Our bodies don’t always recognise that in today’s modern world, the things that might challenge us…probably won’t kill us…so it responds in the same way that it would if you were being chased by a lion. This is not as helpful as might be in the wild!

The good news is, that part of being human, means that we are in control of ourselves, our emotions and how we respond to stress.

We Control And Choose The Emotions We Feel

By Paul Maniphonh (Melbourne, VIC) | November 14, 2017 | Comments Off on We Control And Choose The Emotions We Feel
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Amazing! I wish I had learnt and been aware of how extremely important emotions play in ones life. Knowing that we control and choose the emotions we feel and not the other way around. Being lead by the trainees, who showed us how family it was to change your state / emotion for.

I appreciate all practice exercise parts. When I get the chance to apply and inforce what I learn. The moment part as well is good. I hoped there was more elaboration on breaking patterns. Overall, I enjoyed the friendly warm feel of the training.
