Are you always striving for perfection? If you don’t meet all your expectations and achieve all your desired outcomes, do you self-criticise and start speaking down to yourself? There is a difference in wanting to do your best, and engaging in a downward spiral of perfectionist behaviour.

• Are you scared to let go of perfection because you think it’s the only thing that’s driving you to succeed in your career?
• Are you single and you want to be in a relationship, but you have a super long list of requirements for your ideal match? Do YOU even tick all those boxes?
• Whether it’s the chores at home, or tasks in your job, do you take on more than you really want to, because you know that nobody else will do it the right way, but you end up feeling resentful afterwards?
• Are you in a relationship but you’re finding it hard to connect because it just isn’t living up to the picture you had in your mind of how life would be together?
• When you see yourself in the mirror, do you focus on all the things you hate the look of and want to change?

If you can relate, then it’s OK. You can still strive to do amazing things and put your best foot forward, without letting perfectionism get in your way! A perfectionist attitude can stop you from achieving all that you desire, but you don’t have to let it. There are simple strategies you can do each day to keep moving forward and push past the idea of perfect.

The socialising is super important! It gives us time to get to know each other and have a chat about the learnings from the hour talk, plus you can get your questions answered and meet the presenter and your new tribe!

The first step to overcoming perfection is to find out what motivates you. Do you run towards the excitement of a challenge, or away from the fear of failure? Is the way that you’ve been doing things serving you? Are you satisfied and grateful in your life or do you constantly feel that if only you had this or you could buy that, then you finally be happy?

There is a better way. No more negative self talk and beating yourself up for making a mistake or recharging your batteries. Get to know how your unconscious mind works and what your body needs from you to be able to perform and give you the results you’re looking for. Perfection does not equal success. Progress, Passion and Purpose will get you there much faster!

Back yourself with the support of like-minded people, all on a path to success and learning to push past perfectionism and move forward! You don’t have to stay stuck in negative patterns of thinking.

• Are you constantly thinking about what others opinions are, silently competing with them and always striving to prove you’re better?
• Do you believe that you have to be perfect before you can be in an awesome, loving relationship?
• Are you afraid of disappointing those around you, scared that your best is not good enough?
• How many opportunities have you missed out on because the timing wasn’t perfect, you weren’t ready yet, or you were too scared to make mistakes?
• Do you want to be able to achieve the goals that really matter to you, without agonising over every last detail?

Perfection is not something to be proud of when it’s stopping you from being who you’re meant to be and shining your light on the world. It’s just not worth it to let perfection run your life. Besides, the most valuable parts of ourselves, are the parts that are unique to us. Don’t snuff yourself out in pursuit of perfection.
